Jesus Christ Is God: The Prophesy of The One True Living God
The Prophetic Proof That Jesus Christ is God.
Everyone understands that there is one thing that cannot be avoided — Death. Unfortunately, those who have no idea of their destiny feel hopeless about it.
However, it should not be like that, God through His son Jesus Christ, has promised an eternal home to anyone who believes. It is free!
Yes, it never matters anymore. Your origin, your family, your history, or even your background,” salvation is unlimited.” And who is Jesus in our lives?
Is Jesus God!
Some people have wondered whether Jesus is God or the son of God. Etymologically, there is evidence of the Trinity. That is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are one. As Christians, we read the Bible, and there is where God speaks to us. There are so many verses that teach us about Jesus Christ as God.
Jesus is God – Prophetic Message And Proof
Divine Messiah Who was Prophesied in the Old Testament
Isaiah:7:14…, and will bear a son and will call Him Immanuel. According to the literal reference in Hebrew, Immanuel means “God with us.” Therefore, Jesus Christ is God in human flesh to fulfill the prophetic message. Also, the book of Isaiah:9.6 says that “For to us a child is born…and He’ll be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God…”
After this prophecy, God fulfilled by the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. This came to pass hundreds of years later. However, still more than a millennium before the coming of Jesus on the earth, there was more that was predicted about the Messiah’s divine nature.
For instance, in the book of Daniel 7:13-14, Daniel described in the prophetic message that there was one who looked like a son of man, who was coming with the clouds of heaven. He was given power, glory, and sovereign authority; all peoples and nations and men of all languages worshiped him.
Typically, Jesus Christ is the Lord to be worshipped. Because in the end, He was adored, and He is adored up to this day. Because in the same verse, the Bible says His dominion is everlasting, and His kingdom will never come to an end.
In the end,

“Son of Man” became the primary name Jesus used in reference to Himself. According to the book of Mark, one of the four Gospel books, He also included the phrase, “He(Jesus) was coming on the clouds of heaven.” He applied that to Himself (Mark 14:62). However, there was a section of listeners who got this point but refused to believe it. Instead, they added it to the reasons why they tried to kill Him.
Jesus is God – Proven by His Earthly Ministry
How the Magi worshiped Jesus
In the book of Matthew 2:11
“And they came inside the house and saw the baby with Mary, his mother. The magi fell down on their faces and worshipped Him.
Aside from being guided to the place where baby Jesus was born, the Magi were apparently informed by God about the divine identity of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, they responded appropriately by worshiping Him.
On the other hand, Jesus accepted worship from His disciples
According to Matthew:14.32,33
The disciples were very terrified when they saw Jesus walk on the water. They thought He was a ghost. The disciples did not know that Jesus Christ, had power over nature; that’s why He walked on water. On identifying Jesus, Peter asked to do the same, which he managed at first.
But due to his faith, which became unstable that He lost focus on the Savior, he began to sink. However, Jesus reached out to him. When they entered the boat, the wind died down. Consequently, the disciples, who witnessed this worshiped him, saying that Jesus Christ was truly the Son of God.
According to the Jewish culture, only the one living God can be worshiped; and therefore, their actions hinted that they acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ as being divine. Indeed, He accepted the worship, for He knew that He was God in Human Flesh.
Jesus’ claim about Himself
John 8:58-59: Jesus was teaching the crowd, and His teachings displeased the Pharisees. So, they asked provoking questions to trap Jesus, to find a reason to accuse Him. However, Jesus knew their plans and told them that their father Abraham rejoiced at the idea of seeing (Jesus’) day; he(Abraham) saw it and was glad.
The crowd was very shocked and asked Jesus why he was less than 50 years of age, yet He had seen Abraham! Jesus answered them that He was there even before Abraham was born!
Certainly, this is clear proof that Jesus Christ was first before Abraham, that He pre-existed His human birth. Honestly, He was present (as God) before Abraham; also, His title was “I am” — which was the same title used by Moses referring to Jehovah God in Exodus 3:14. That is why His listeners got disappointed and picked up stones to execute Him!
Also…,
John 10:30-33: Jesus said He and the Father(God) are one. Also, they were displeased and sought to stone Jesus. However, Jesus asked them to tell the miracle they were planning to stone Him for. Instead, they said they were stoning Him for blasphemy because they thought he was a human being claiming to be God.
Points to remember!
Jesus is God, who was there even before the existence of the earth. John 1:1-3
Jesus is the Messiah sent by God to die on the cross for my sins. John 3:6
Jesus is the way, truth, and life. He has power over death and resurrection. He is the only way to heaven. John 14:6
I should confess my sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and follow His teachings. Mathew11:28.
What to do!
Believe that we’ve all sinned and deserve God’s judgment. However, God, the Father, sent His only begotten Son to satisfy that judgment for any person who believes in Him. Jesus Christ — the creator and eternal Son of God, lived a sinless life and loves us so much that He gave away His life on the cross for our sins. Therefore, He took away the punishment that we deserved. Jesus was buried.
However, He rose from the dead. Then He ascended to Heaven and sits on the right hand of God the Father. He will come to judge the living and the dead.
If you truly believe and trust this confession in your heart, then you need to receive Jesus alone as your Savior, by declaring, “Jesus as the Lord in your life. Then, you’ll be saved from judgment. Truly, you will spend eternity with God in Heaven. May the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit Be with us forever and ever!

Thank you for this interesting and inspirational article.
For many years I interpreted that Jesus was the Son of God rather than God Himself. I suppose to an extent it could be our inability to comprehend two concepts i.e ‘God’ and ‘Son’ as one and the same. We have become accustomed to the concept of God as the father, and in doing so we must assign a father with a child. However, God, of course, isn’t really a father in the usual sense of the word but is of course the creator. It makes sense to me that a creator cannot be separate from the created, as they are part of the one whole creation.
